David S. Kordish, O.D.
Dr. Kordish grew up in Hibbing, Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota for pre-optometry training, and received his Bachelor of Science degree at Pacific University in Oregon in 1974. He completed his optometry training at Pacific University College of Optometry, receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1976. After graduation, he returned to Minnesota where he began a primary optometry care practice. He was the co-chairman of the eye department at Share Health Plan, Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Kordish and his wife, Suzanne, relocated to Spokane in 1982, where he continued to practice general optometry with emphasis on contact lenses.
In 1991, Dr. Kordish joined Dr. Michael Cunningham at the Inland Eye Center. He spends one day per week in the Colfax location of Inland Eye Center. He provides comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages. He has special interest in contact lenses, eye disease, and LASIK surgery co-management. Dr. Kordish has been a member of the American Optometric Association for 37 years, and he is a charter member of the contact lens section of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Kordish has been married to his wife, Suzanne, for 38 years. They have a daughter, son-in-law, and grandson who reside in Spokane. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Kordish and his wife enjoy golfing, hiking, gardening, photography, and raising dogs.
